Must say it does seem like quite an accomplishment to have sailed this far.
Friends also arrived in Sydney this past weekend after a very rough passage from New Zealand. They are Andy & Melissa on S/V Spectacle. They are berthed in a marina near the Opera House. If you chance to see S/V Spectacle, you should introduce yourselves. BTW, Andy & Melissa absolutely love Sydney. Sorry we won't make it down that far.
Judy & BillJudy & Billnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2151800050737906706.post-45148939222814830762009-06-03T13:51:13.499+01:002009-06-03T13:51:13.499+01:00Hi Judy and Bill,
WELCOME TO AUSTRALIA.
W...Hi Judy and Bill,
WELCOME TO AUSTRALIA.
We really hope you enjoy you stay.
We enjoyed reading about your journey here. Lets hope the weather is kind to you while you are here. We have been having a lot of rain here in Sydney recently. As winter is now upon us it is also getting colder. We have some friends from our sailing club,The Coastal Cruising Club of Australia,(CCC) sailing up to the Whitsundays at the moment. So if you should see any boats with a Burgee which is yellow with a black sailing boat on it, make yourself known. They are a great bunch of people. We are looking forward to your next post.
May fair winds guide you.
Joy and Alan 'SV Galia'Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
